WELCOME TO BACKWATER KENNELS

Being from South Louisiana, it's no shock that Backwater Kennels has a passion for family, dogs, and the outdoors.  So in 2021, my family and I were searching for a dog breed that would check off all of these qualities.  We decided on the loveable golden retrievers, which are known for being family dogs as well as working dogs. We did our research and selected dogs that would be perfect for our breeding standards.  We take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all our pets. It is our goal at Backwater Kennels to ensure our dogs are a good fit for their future loving families.
